Disassembly report: vivo x fold original 80W dual C-Port flash charging gallium nitride charger2022-04-26
At the new product launch held by vivo on April 11 this year, vivo released the first folding screen mobile phone vivo x fold, the first tablet vivo pad and the flagship large screen business mobile phone vivo x note. Vivo x fold folding screen mobile phone supports 80W wired flash charging and 50W wireless charging.
Vivo is equipped with a dual C-Port 80W gallium nitride flash charger as standard for this folding screen mobile phone. It supports vivo's private fast charging protocol, 65W PD fast charging, dual port power blind plug-in and power intelligent distribution. It can charge Apple mobile phones and notebooks at the same time, which is very competitive.
The charging head network has now obtained this dual port 80W gallium nitride flash charger. Here is a detailed disassembly to see how the charger is designed to achieve full power through dual port blind plug.
Vivo 80W gallium nitride flash charger is a dual port design, with a single port maximum output power of 80W. It supports 65W PD fast charging and power blind insertion. The total output is 80W and supports 60 + 20W power distribution. It is very suitable for apple notebook and mobile phone users. Dual devices can be charged quickly at the same time. Compared with the traditional multi port fast charging with 65W total power, it is more practical and a balance point of volume and power.
Through the disassembly of the charging head network, it is learned that the internal use of the charger is a flyback switching power supply composed of a vertical switching power supply controller and a MPS mp6908 synchronous rectifier controller, with constant voltage output. The charger has built-in nano nv6136a gallium nitride power chip without current sampling resistance, and the synchronous rectifier is from Weizhao semiconductor. The usb-c port adopts Nanxin sc8002 Synchronous Step-Down Controller and Weizhao semiconductor MOS tube for Synchronous Step-Down. The output voltage is adjusted by the Lixi protocol chip, and the dual interface power automatic distribution function is carried out.
The electrolytic capacitors in the charger are from Zhibao, and the solid-state capacitors are from emerald. The circuit board is welded with several small boards to make full use of space. The circuit board is wrapped with brass heat sink and fixed by welding. The interior is filled with a large amount of glue, fixed and thermally conductive, and the overall workmanship is very solid.
